I doubt that either of those two systems can provide proper ventilation
for the new 2.5" SCSI drives.  2.5" SCSI/SCA and SAS drives aren't
designed for notebook use; they're designed for server use.  They don't
provide the greatest capacities (those are still solely available in the
3.5" packages), but the trade-off is they put off a little less heat and
can (theoretically) spin faster due to there being less platter present.

I seem to recall we had a thread on this not very long ago.
