[geeks] blocking incoming cell phone calls, possible solution

Ah, I've figured this one out.

I hastily deleted the original thread, so I created this one to respond.

Go to your phone's settings menu and go into security.

Do whatever is needed to enter a lock code for your phone.

Once you do that, many phones will have a new option called something  
like "limited use", which won't appear if you haven't locked your phone.

Go there and you should see menu entries for restriction of both  
incoming and outgoing calls.

The bad news is that some phones have pretty crappy options here.

My Nokia let you enter a blacklist.

A lot of other phones really have only three options: block all, block  
none, or accept only people in your phone book.

If that's the case, then you have to include everyone who might call  
you in your phone book, which can be difficult.

The black list is best, but as I said, not all phones will do it.
