The compiler itself does run on Linux/x86 and Windows. Then you  
somehow upload your code into the GPU and run it. Sorry I don't know  
the details, but hit the link above.

You can't run the graphics card without putting it in a PC.

For those running Matlab there is some kind of plugin, I am sure  
other plugins for other programs will follow.
