Don't hang your heart out if you are looking to do this on the cheap.  
Zorro NICs are REALLY sought-after. I paid about 50GBP for both mine,  
one is a X-Surf (bridged ISA), the other a Commodore A2065 (native  
Thicknet or BNC).

You have to be careful also to avoid cards that are for ArcNet or  
TokenRing, like the A2060, which are usually going cheap for a  
reason :o).

The 3 most popular ETHERNET cards are the A2065, X-Surf and the  
Ariadne/Ariadne II. All fetch a premium in my experience.
