An alternative:

Carve a /30 out of your IP block; that subnet will have 2 usable IP
numbers, one for your DSL modem (in PPPoA mode!) and one for the Cisco
router.

Add a route statement to your DSL modem to send the rest of your IP
block to the Cisco router.

Achieves what you want, yes?
