http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub/Systems/Ultra20/Ultra20.html

I don't see any icons telling me that some of the links there are broken.

It's almost all bone-dry basic product information.

Not help, not support, just information on the products, like the inside
view of the Ultra 20.

To me, it is perfectly natural to hit this page to get information before I
would make a purchase. I'd be pretty turned off as a potential buyer by a page
like this which shows links I cannot actually get to.

Yes, you can search sun.com to get Ultra 20 information, but that might not
occur to everyone. If they are already at the page above, what conclusion do
you think most people will draw when the links don't work?

Also, since full PDF documentation on the Ultra 20 is available, why
does this page restrict you from something as simple as a motherboard
image?

That just plain doesn't make sense.

Are you telling me they are making killer capital off of images of U2
motherboards?

Besides, see above: if the information is available elsewhere in greater
detail, what is the financial reason for restricting it in one place but not
another?

Anyway, I usually find what I need by searching anyway because I find
Sun's site broken.

I just think it is silly to restrict basic product information,
especially when much of it is available elsewhere on the site, and I
refuse to believe they depend on that for revenue.

If they do, then Sun is on borrowed time.
