I have found that anything made by Netgear that has a metal case, is
usually OK.  Anything made by Netgear that has a plastic case, is the
worst kind of junk.

Example:  

4-port cable/dsl router, metal case - worked great, even had a CLI you
could connect to!

4-port cable/dsl router and Wifi AP, plastic case - piece of crap, would
kill your SSH sessions after a minute or two; no CLI, lousy web GUI.
