[geeks] Fujitsu MAP3367NC

I just installed a new Fujitsu MAP3367NC drive in my Sun Ultra 2.

Works perfectly.

This is a 36GB 10K rpm drive, and it is absolutely silent, and very
fast. This is the first time in years I've been able to hear the heads
on a SCSI drive over their motor noise.

Seagate Barracuda SATA drives have slightly noisier motors, but quieter
heads. I assume Barracuda SCSI drives are also very quiet in the
current generation.

Highly recommended if anyone is looking for a new SCSI drive. Since
they seem to be reliable too, I might switch to them from Seagate unless
Seagate's new drives are as quiet.

It's just too bad that Sun U2 SCSI is so slow.

After years of screaming SCSI drives it is nice to see how quiet the new
stuff is.
