No, thanks, I'll keep it in mind.

Debian has it's own following. I've been involved with Liunx for almost
11 years now, and IMHO Red Hat is the number one distro when it comes
to OTHER people supplying packages. Debian is too varied and too technical
for the masses and people who port packages tend to do Red Hat first to
reach the most people with the least work.

Neat, I never heard of it. Sounds like a worthwhile effort and I will 
definitely look at it.

That's what I meant, sorry. I wanted something that would look like a
DVD recorder, not just a command line mpeg encoder (which would be 
usefull too).
