I'm running 3.4.33 on my Solaris 9:

# /sbin/ipf -V
ipf: IP Filter: v3.4.33 (432)
Kernel: IP Filter: v3.4.33
Running: yes
Log Flags: 0 = none set
Default: block all, Logging: available
Active list: 1
# uptime
  3:06pm up 181 day(s), 5:34, 1 user, load average: 0.02, 0.01, 0.01

I probably should upgrade to 3.4.35, but 3.4.33 works perfectly. I've
heard almost nothing but bad things about 4.x on Solaris, but Sun deems
it good enough to include in Solaris 10, and NetBSD includes 4.1 as well.
