[geeks] Slow Ultra160 performance

Hi

I am just ripping my hair out with this box. I upgraded my cubase 
machine and got a ultra160 adaptec 2100s raid card with 3 * 36gb 10k rpm 
drives. I connected them internally with 68pin to sca adapters and put a 
termination on them. When I go into the bios it shows me that all 3 
drives run at 160mb/s speeds. I created the raid5 and installed the OS. 
Now somehow the performance is slow.

I did some tests and get max trueput of 6mb/s. That doesnt sound right. 
It seems like it's slower than the serial ata drives I had on there be4. 
The reason why I went u160 is cause the serial ata controller had issues 
with my m-audio delta44 sound card.

Anybody ever had something like this happening be4? Could it be 
termination issues?
