" Same condo for 18 years? Wow, I've always viewed condos as "transitional" housing - not inferior, but transitional (I lived in a condo for about 2 years, and I miss it everytime is snows, or when the yard needs attention... ;^)

i -intended- it to be transitional when i bought it, but...  life is
what happens while you're making other plans.

i'm vy lucky in one respect - it's a 'condex', a duplex, and i have
only one other owner to deal with.  it's almost like living in my own
house - city services etc, no condo fee; i do my own yardwork.  i'm
also close enough to downtown to walk almost everywhere, but i
[sometimes] wish i had a bigger yard...

my neighbor has had two husbands and a boyfriend [none me], but she's
also been here 18 years - minus 4 months.  i was first into a new
building, and for four months i had it all to myself.
