Hello all,

I came across this item in a recent eWeek (7 July, 2003) and thought
folks here might be interested - a complete "hot spot" wireless gateway
(with printer) for $699 (est.).

It lock unauthorized users into a login page, and after entering their
unique user-id & password, allows them to surf freely. It can be
programmed to charge various rates per unit of time ($/hr or
similar)...

Looks like a noce little box for small businesses that want to offer
public wireless internet for low $$. $700  plus $40/month for DSL and
you are "in business" ;^)
