Far from it.  That involves the client sending an extra HTTP header.  Of
course, HTTP being an application layer protocol, that all goes in the
body of the TCP packets, nothing to do with connection set-up/tear-down.
The presence of the keep-alive header simply tells the server that the
client would prefer it to not start tearing-down the connection after it
has finished serving the request.
