I've never needed to look for that myself.  Have you looked at:

  <http://teaparty.mathworks.com:1999/toasters/>

I guess you might get lucky and catch the activity with the "CIFS
Session Report" in FilerView, but that's a crap shoot, especially if you
have a lot of users.
