[geeks] PC question

I paid $500 for the mobo alone.  I don't know about you but i
can't be tossing out a few benjis here and there any
time i want.  That's tata bar money gone to waste :)

Perhaps if all that crap wasn't built in there to begin with
it wouldn't have cost $500 and i wouldn't be tossing it out. 
I'd just be replacing a SCSI card and happily going about my
business.

Admittedly though, these are the type of issues you have with
PCs that don't crop up as often with proprietary systems.
