As far as I'm concerned, Socialism is a good idea, on paper.  However in
practice, it's proven to be less than ideal.  Most Americans may
automatically reject anything to do with socialism, but most Americans
probably don't really know what it even is, or realize that it is
different from communism.  I'd bet that most Americans just know that
they're both "bad".
