Yeah, but can you escape RS without the sales drone trying
(over-)enthusiastically to sell you batteries, blank video tapes, cell
phone service, and satellite TV?

I stopped patronizing the store on ethical grounds years ago because of
the policy of overaggressive sales tactics.  I say "policy" because it
was observed by multiple sales drones in multiple stores before I
stopped patronizing them.  The last time I was there I left about $100
worth of stuff on the counter and didn't pay for it, and explained that
their aggressive salesmanship has lost them a customer for a long long
time.

These days, I go out of my way to get parts elsewhere, even if it costs
more $$$.

RS is dying?  No great loss.
