Nope.  CDE has to stay for compliance with some standards (SVR4? UNIX?
One/both of them I think).

Even without that there has to be a transition period, and for something
as critical as CDE I'd suspect that'd be at least 2 releases.  So with
Gnome having it's first FCS appearance in Solaris 10, CDE will be around
until at least Solaris 12.
