If you know SPARC assembler, you know MIPS.  The opcodes are a little
different, and parameters go in almost perfect reverse order, but the
idioms are the same.  I've wanted to learn PPC, but I heard it's
frightening.  I guess now that I have a semi-decent PPC box, I should
spend an evening playing with PPC assembler.
