C'mon, we're supposed to be geeks!  Didn't anyone else look at

They were paved under to make a parking lot for PissNet/Ravens Stadium;
they later re-opened, but I missed that - at the time, the owners said
that they wouldn't because they wouldn't be able to recreate the spirit
of the original.

98 Rock in Baltimore had a twisted tune about it, spun to Joni
Mitchell's lyrics "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot."  I
have it somewhere - if someone wants me to rip it, let me know and I'll
post it.

  They shut down a few years ago...I don't recall if they reopened; they
may have but I might just be thinking of the 9:30 Club in DC, which
did close down and subsequently reopen.
