I do 99% of my web browsing from a text terminal using lynx. Every once
in a while, out of curiosity, I go use someone's PC to see what one of
my favourite web sites "actually looks like".

Usually they're worse. Harder to navigate, slower, and ugly.

That's a really bad sign.
