Hobbies...

Linguistics, outrigger canoeing (I lived in Hawaii for a little while, got
hooked on it there), making pop-up paper cards, sewing, cardweaving, carving
stone with a dremel tool, digital video editing, ai research, taking over
the world.

Some of these happen frequently, some very rarely, and some just in my head.

Reading-wise I am a big fan of Pratchett and Adams (got to see him read a
couple times in person, quite glad of that). Recently re-read Dirk Gently
and was pleasantly surprised that it was far better than I remembered (or
perhaps my reading eye had matured quite a bit).

Stuff I'd like to do before I die:
- Make gozillions of dollars doing something that doesn't suck
- Travel a lot, preferably to other continents at least a bit
- Do more art, learning drawing and ceramics/sculpture
- Learn electronics
- Something important that outlasts me (found a school, for example)
- Write books
- Garden
- Have goats
