Generally, I don't really like Opels. They look bisarre in some ways or
another, except for some goodies out there. I'm thinking the Omega 3000,
Calibra, Vectra B, Manta.

Today, it's hard to find a descent Calibra without the usual Opel
wear-and-tear (rust!), and original condition. (That is, none of those
plastic styling-kits that's very common for these machines) Below is a
nice virgin piece:

These cars are among the most popular ones for kids (yes, 20-year olds)
in europe, among BMW's. That means that if you manage to find a car with
nice exterior, it probably has a beaten engine, gearbox, drivetrain or
god-knows-what. If it's in good/perfect overall condition, it probably
looks like one of these:

...and cost twice as much, just because of some plastics.

I managed to get my hands on a -92 model, owned by ONE owner in Germany,
before a 50+ year-old guy took it to sweden a year ago. I don't have any
photos of it at the moment, but it's "spectral-blue metallic". Nice
darkish metallic blue that shifts from bright blue to almost black. :-)
Nice 16valve 4cyl that keeps 150 stock hp and tops @ 230km/h, only
drinking 0.65L/10km.
