Road trip? Wouldn't that require a car? Even a license maybe....

On the more serious side, I would love a more reliable and well built
computer, maybe one that can support a more well designed OS then the
one I currently use(Win2K) but the next time I hope to be heading
south is to Des Moines, IA in August, though that is very tenuous
right now. I am sure that if I do go I can arrange to have a person
driving through one of those area's pick one up, and I can fins a way
to get it back home.

The problem with shipping, as one list member had found already(sorry
again), is that a)the customs office is very much out of the way and
hard to get to by public transportation, and b)is quite costly. I
have found that Canada customs thinks a lot higher of computer
equipment then reality dictates. Mind you, they are used to
size=price, and usually see more PC's then they do Sun's and so on.
