i have found affiliations and experience with linux in general to be 
harmful to my unix career. there are a great many admins out there who 
have been burned by tech people who claim to have "unix experience" 
solely based upon linux use. and you even see a listing or two a week on 
monster.com that specifically states "linux experience not sufficient 
for position" or similar.

i'd be careful before waving the linux flag.
