[geeks] Bind 9.1.3 garbling zone files?

[Big Endian]

I have a secondary DNS running bind 8.2.4 and it works great.  When I 
try to run 9.1.3 on the same zone files/conf file it garbles reverse 
ie: appends xxx.xxx.xxx.in-addr.arpa certain reverses, looses reverse 
entries.  Anybody ever seen this before?
