[geeks] speaking of NTP...

I forget which list we had the NTP discussion on..

But, is there a "recommended" way to configure xntpd? Here's
my /etc/inet/ntp.conf for example:

server mail.ots.utexas.edu
server time.nist.gov
server time-a.nist.gov
server time-b.nist.gov
server time-nw.nist.gov
driftfile /etc/inet/ntp.drift

Then, for example, my machine here at home has:

server ohno.mrbill.net
server mail.ots.utexas.edu
server time.nist.gov
server time-a.nist.gov
server time-b.nist.gov
server time-nw.nist.gov
driftfile /etc/inet/ntp.drift

With appropraite entries in each /etc/hosts file, of course.

Is there a "better" way to do it? I'm not worried about "secure"
NTP, etc... I just want to keep GOOD time. 8-)

Bill
