You come across an ethernet cable (lets say gray) with pieces of yellow
shrinkwrap or tape on the ends about 1" from the RJ45 plug.  What is it?

(I know the answer, I wanna see if any of y'all have the same answer I
 do, from being exposed to certain equipment)

(hrm, maybe we should make a bigger test - anybody else got "old skool"
