Checkout Cisco LAN switching (Assuming Cisco gear). It covers 802.1Q, ISL,
EtherChannel
Spanning Tree, layer 3 switching and VTP. It also covers topologies and various
layer II
concepts. The author makes some really cool witty remarks. One of the best books
I ever
read!
