Don't as me why, but I was pondering direct neural connection to a TCP/IP
network tonight (Pitr!) and had quite a visualization in my head...

In order to (IOT) recieve a packet at a neuron, we would have to be
trained to percieve an input. (as well as an output)

IOT establish a link, we would have to learn a (link/data) protocol.
IOT view a web page, we would have to have a "browser".
IOT have a browser, we would have to have an HTML renderer..

And so on until you have the entire thing laid out start to finish. As we
progress along each developmental stage, each one before it gets easier to
practice.  As we master the binary reading and interpretation of packets,
the link level gets easier, etc.

That was about five seconds of thought time in my head -- max. That's what
I saw. I wish I could dump some of this stuff out.
