Complete and utter rubbish.

The recommendation not to have a separate /usr parition is new, and either
way is fully supported.

In many years of admin'ing several hundred machines, I've never had a
single problem booting a machine due to shared library problems. In the
event that I did, "boot cdrom" or "boot net" would have had me ready to
fix the problems and try again.
