I don't administer it. My choices are to enable it or disable it.
That is all I am allowed do with it. I have decided not to use it,
even though I actually got a piece of Spam that appears to have
derived my address from some mail list, even though I don't use that
email on anything but my own site.

It may have done, but that's VERY unlikely.  I filter all the mailing
lists
I'm on, but not a single legitimate post to *@sunhelp.org has been
caught by
it.  I suspect you've misconfigured it.  Either that or you're using
a buggy
rule-set - one was released a couple of weeks ago IIRC, and *very*
quickly
followed-up with a fixed version.
