I think 1993, going by memory.  I also like the SS10, but there were a few
things that make the SSS20 a bit better, including the cooling, the use of
SCA drives (I hated that at first, now I love 'em), internal CD-ROM, and
just a tad faster.  In general, the 20 is a good update to the 10.  But,
you are right - the SS10 is no slouch either.  Plus, it has built-in ISDN.
