[geeks] Linux GL note, may be of interest to Andrew

We have a couple Oxygen GVX1 Pro's here and we were not impressed. Everyone
liked the GeForce2 Ultra better. I actually have one sitting on my desk
doing nothing.

The main thing was the drivers. We had all kinds of display corruption
problems. I am pretty sure it was because we were running them on Dual
Athlon machines ( = via chipset), but we don't have any high end machines
with Intel chipsets.

I might be wrong, but if memory serves, these cards are between $1000 and
$2000. They will be easily faster than a GeForce, and a bit faster than a
Quadro. They will be slower than a GLoria, or one of the faster Oxygens,
or any of the newer Wildcats.
