Ditto, same for superstack hubs. I have a hub that I waited patiently for
the fan bearings to finally  freeze. Bank vaults should be as hard to get
into as these cases.

Yup, but I've been having trouble with Cisco Cat 2924XL's lately doing this.

Don't know, never used it.

Yup.

They also have snmp amnesia funkiness. They forget what ports they reported
on the snmp tree when it booted, so you get warnings for ports that
shouldn't be reporting anything.
