[geeks] are *BSD (and Linux) people "unhelpful"?

For workstations, Irix is a *wonderful* OS, it gets even better if you
can get the SGI freeware stuff on there.  Very geared toward the way I
think anyhow. XFS is a very nice FS, and the virtual volumes stuff is
very nice in the abscence of hardwar RAID.
