Seriously, a U2 could be called "cheap" these days (going for 19K less 
than what I paid for them in 97 or 98), but never "low end" - any system 
that includes the capability for dual US-II CPU's, a 100MHz bus 
(including the video card!), 2G of RAM, and FW SCSI can never be called 
"low end".
