Erm, no, it doesn't.  33MHz, 32bit PCI has only 132 MegaBytes/second of
bandwidth, but PCI is widely available at 66MHz and 64bit.  That's 528
MegaBytes/sec of bandwidth, which is a lot more respectable.  Still not
on par with what a memory bus on a well designed SMP machine is, but a
whole different ballpark from 132MB/sec.
