Skunks (was Re: [geeks] UPS and shipping morons

Anything that leaves small black presents at the front door deserves plastic
pellets.

I've developed a reputation as an asshole in my neighborhood - all because I
don't want people to let their dog do #1 and #2 on ly lawn.  One evening an
older couple was walking by while I was packing some stuff for shipment
inthe front room.  They stopped midway past my front yard to let the dog
relieve itself (#2) and there wasn't a pooper scooper or baggy in sight.
"Keep on walking!"  I said, in my midwestern drawl.  No reaction.  I went to
the kitchen got a plastic baggy, ran out front, and handed it to the guy.  I
told him, in the crudest and rudest possible terms, that if his dog was
going to shit on my lawn - I was going to go shit on his.

He picked up the poop, and I haven't seen him around since.
