The LD50 is about 20 liters, I think.  There was at least one instance I
remember of an Ecstacy user drinking enough water to kill herself (by
accident; Ecstacy inhibits the nervous response that tells the body it
is no longer thirsty in some people).  The continuous intake of water
dilutes the salt levels in the body.
