OK, the E10k has IO and partitioning, which is how I used to define a
mainframe as being different from a really large server.  So, what do I
use to define a mainframe now to people who are curious as to what the
diff is?

The IBM mainframes at school reportedly go down if you sneeze wrong in the
building.  They are really, really, really old though.  Like maybe older
than the s/360 line.
