It is a PPC based machine.  They are kinda nifty and will even run
solaris.  Linux seems to be a more common choice though.  I think the
original native OS was either AIX or something really strange. 

You should try to get it going.  I don't think ram would be that hard for
you to find, and they are fairly fun little boxes.
