Overview
There are 3 types of backup:

Config Backup
Download
Button
Click this to download the configuration file and save it on your PC.
Upload
Button
Use this to restore a previously-saved configuration file from your PC to the Network Storage Link.

Drive Backup
Enable drive backup If Enabled, data will automatically be backed up from Disk 1 to Disk 2 at the time specified.
All existing data on Disk 2 will be destroyed !
If Disk 2 is changed, drive backup is automatically disabled, in order to protect any data on the new Disk 2.
Backup Time Select the time to start the Backup. It is best to do this when the Network Storage Link is idle. If the Network Storage Link is in use, a "Snapshot" of the HDD is made, and any additional data added after starting the backup will be ignored.

Use this to start the data process immmediately. This process could take hours for large amounts of data.

Data Backup
Backup Jobs This lists any Backup jobs you have defined. If you have not defined any jobs, the list will be empty. For each job which has been defined, the following data is shown:
  • Name - the name you assigned to this backup job.
  • Source & Destination - The name of the source and destination devices are shown in the form Source => Destination.
  • Date/Time - The date and time of the last backup are shown.
Backup Now Run the selected backup job immediately.
Modify This button will open a sub-window where you can change the settings of the selected backup job.
Delete Delete the selected backup job.
Add New Job This button will open a sub-window where you can define a new backup job.
View Log View the log of completed backup jobs in a sub-window.
