Patch Name: PHSS_9979 Patch Description: s700_800 10.X OpenMail B.04.00 HPDesk Gateway patch Creation Date: 97/01/31 Post Date: 97/02/05 Hardware Platforms - OS Releases: s700: 10.01 10.10 10.20 s800: 10.01 10.10 10.20 Products: OpenMail B.04.00 Filesets: OpenMail.OM-CORE,B.04.00 OpenMail.OM-DESK,B.04.00 Automatic Reboot?: No Status: General Release Critical: No Path Name: /hp-ux_patches/s700_800/10.X/PHSS_9979 Symptoms: PHSS_9979: 1653186346: Opendesk/OM/X400 Directory lookup in Openmail ignores Free Form Name attribute. 1653149898: Desk Gateway builds an incorrect openmail format address from an HPDesk Transaction File. The X400 interface then fails to build the message with om_put failure code 25 OM_WRONG_VALUE_LENGTH. Rolled in from PHSS_6985. Defect Description: PHSS_9979: 1653186346: The code performing the directory lookup was search only for attributes which were significant for X400 routing. FF is not one of these. Code now changed to search for all ORN attributes. 1653149898: If no mapping exists for an HPDesk name the actual HPDesk format address is put into the Surname field. This is then used by the non-delivery routines to generate the HPDesk non-delivery. If the message is also being routed out of X400, however, this format is invalid (too long). Fix is to put a valid X400 format of the address into the DL which will be passed into OpenMail and X400.
