Defect Description:
	PHSS_23596:
	Id = JAGad16416
	    Wrong stderr redirection is used when starting .profile
	    for a Sybase backup.

	Resolution:
	    Stderr redirection is corrected.

	Id = JAGad21890
	    An unautorized user can obtain SA password during a
	    Sybase backup session.

	Resolution:
	    Fix is implemented in sybackup.sh.temp and
	    util_sybase.exe.

	Id = NSMex03910
	    Major messages are not checked by Backup Session
	    Manager.

	Resolution:
	    Backup Session Manager checks all messages.

	Id = HSLco21762
	    OmniBack II 3.50 does not support Sybase 12.0.

	Resolution:
	    Support for Sybase 12.0 on HP-UX 11.00 and Sun
	    Solaris 7 and 8 added.

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHSS_23596

	5a. For a standalone system, run swinstall to install the
	    patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true \
			-s /tmp/PHSS_23596.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in
	/var/adm/sw/patch/PHSS_23596.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, you can create an empty file
	named /var/adm/sw/patch/PATCH_NOSAVE.

	WARNING: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the
	         patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.

	It is recommended that you move the PHSS_23596.text file to
	/var/adm/sw/patch for future reference.

	To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
	tape drive, use the command:

		dd if=/tmp/PHSS_23596.depot of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2k

	NOTE!
	This Patch has to be installed on the Installation
	Server host.

	The OB2 Sybase agent must be redistributed to the Sybase
	client system(s) after the installation of the patch
	in order to get the fixes into effect.

	For distribution of the Sybase agent, refer to
	the OmniBackII Installation guide.

	NOTE!
	From this patch on, OmniBack II enables integration of
	Sybase Adaptive Server 12. Currently it is supported
	for HP-UX 11.00 and Solaris 7 and 8 platforms only.
