PHSS_21333: Id = NSMbb25274 Mom GUI shows "No Licenses Available" even when the licenses are installed. PHSS_20843: Id = NSMex03060 Installation of agent(s) fails with the following error message: "Command execution on client failed!" PHSS_20382: Id = HSLco17608, HSLco17609 An user could obtain unauthorized access on an OmniBack II client host. PHSS_20085: Id = NSMex02773 Option '-change_objname' is obsolete, but is still explained in the usage and recognized by the omnidbutil executable. If used, the omnidbutil fails with the message: "Invalid old object name specified!" "Update failed!" PHSS_18680: Id = NSMex02181 The GUI licensing info shows wrong information when combined (e.g. product number B6951AA) licenses are installed. Id = HSLco14388 OmniBack II push installation to Irix 6.x fails with an error "Cannot uncompress". Id = NSMex02331 Eject fails, but no message is reported if the mailslot is full/empty during the eject/enter operation. PHSS_17307: Id = NSMex01657 If restore of large number of files is started via GUI, some files are not restored, although the session completed successfully. Id = HSLco12218 Installation of DA or MA module to SINIX system fails. Id = NSMex01820 Problem with Oracle database access. Id = HSLco12592 Installation of OB2 modules fails with the error message: "error: Unrecognized platform!" if root user uses csh as default shell after login. PHSS_16715: Id = HSLco11740 The disk Agent package can not be installed on IRIX 6.4 or on Irix 6.5. Defect Description: PHSS_21987: Id = JAGac95071 omnigetmsg is missing in the OmniBack II Oracle7 integration package for Solaris. Resolution: omnigetmsg added to OmniBack II Oracle7 integration package for Solaris. See Special Installation Instructions. PHSS_21333: Id = NSMbb25274 If a client server in MoM environment does not have MoM extension license installed, then the MoM GUI shows "No Licenses Available" for that particular client server even though it has some other licenses installed. Resolution: Message changed to "No MoM License available on this system". PHSS_20843: Id = NSMex03060 The inet binary is a part of the CORE fileset which is updated on a client whenever an agent is installed there. When it is overwritten by the defective inet binary, it starts refusing to execute OmniBack II installation commands and it is not possible to push any agents to that host anymore. Resolution: Inet now executs the installation commands correctly. PHSS_20382: Id = HSLco17608, HSLco17609 An user could obtain unauthorized access on an OmniBack II client host. Resolution: The problem with unauthorized access has been fixed. PHSS_20085: Id = NSMex02773 The option '-change_objname' for the 'omnidbutil' command has been introduced with the SSPUX300_013. It modifies the object name in the OB2 internal database. This results in restore from the GUI not being possible for such object, but it can still be restored from the CLI command 'omnir'. Since the Cell Manager patch PHSS_18697, this option has been considered obsolete, but is still explained in the usage, and recognized by the command 'omnidbutil', although it doesn't change the object name anymore, and will fail instead. Resolution: The option '-change_objname' is removed from the usage and is not recognized by the 'omnidbutil' command anymore. PHSS_18680: Id = NSMex02181 xomniadmin GUI doesn't show combined licenses correctly (combined licenses are those, which contain two licenses, e.g. 1 'Cell Manager' + 1 'Single Drive' or 1 'Cell Manager' + 1 'Drive Server' licenses). Resolution: xomniadmin GUI now shows detailed list of licenses available, including the info for each password. Part of SSPUX300_050. Id = HSLco14388 If the OmniBack II is already installed on Irix 6.x then an upgrade or instalation to that system fails with the error: "Cannot uncompress". Resolution: Path for uncompress utility on Irix has been corrected. Id = NSMex02331 During eject/enter into/from full/empty mailslot on SCSI-II Library nothing happens for 10 minutes. There is no warning message that mailslot is full or empty and UMA is actually waiting for the operator to do the proper action (remove or enter the medium into the mailslot). Resolution: New message informs the operator that the medium should be removed or entered into the mailslot. PHSS_17307: Id = NSMex01657 The restore session passes a large number of parameters to the inet service. However only 1024 are accepted. As a result, the Disk Agent restores less files than it should. Because additional parameters are needed for each file, the number of successfully restored files is approximately 900 only. Resolution: Fix has been implemented in inet. Id = HSLco12218 Installation to SINIX systems fails because the 'uname -a' command on that systems reports "Reliant" instead of "SINIX". Part of: SSPUX300_016 Resolution: Fix has been implemented in util.sh and bmsetup. Id = NSMex01820 Access problem with OBII database integration scripts. Id = HSLco12592 If user administrator (root) uses csh as default shell after login to a system, installation of OmniBack II modules to that system will fail. OB2 implies ksh as the shell to be used. Resolution: Bmsetup now wraps the installation remote commands into sh shell. PHSS_16715: Id = HSLco11740 Installation of the Disk Agent on IRIX 6.4 or IRIX 6.5 is not supported. Support will now be added. WARNING: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the patch cannot be deinstalled. Please be careful when using this feature. It is recommended that you move the PHSS_21987.text file to /var/adm/sw/patch for future reference. To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the tape drive, use the command: dd if=/tmp/PHSS_21987.depot of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2k Special Installation Instructions: PHSS_21987: NOTE! Patch has to be installed on all Installation server hosts. NOTE! Fix for JAGac95071 is part of OmniBack II general release patches PHSS_21875/PHSS_21876 (Oracle 7) and PHSS_21877/PHSS_21878 (Oracle 8). Users of mentioned integrations should install appropriate patches in order to get full functionality of the fix. NOTE! Problem NSMex03060 has been fixed within this patch. Before pushing the agents, the defective inet must be removed from the clients that have reported the problem. The location of the inet binary depends on the client platform: HP-UX 10.x, 10.20, 11.x: /opt/omni/lbin/inet HP-UX 9.x, other UNIX clients: /usr/omni/bin/inet Use the unix 'rm' command for removing the inet binary on affected clients. NOTE! For complete resolution of the problems NSMex02773, NSMex01657, NSMex01890 and NSMex02181 the OmniBack II 3.00 Cell Manager patch PHSS_20083/PHSS_20084 or later must be installed on the Cell Manager system, and one of the client modules (Disk Agent, Media Agent or Cell Console) must be reinstalled on the Cell Manager system in order to update the CORE fileset there. In order for this patch to become effective any OB2 push packet (DA, MA, CC, SAP, Oracle, etc) has to be distributed to OB2 clients. Patch includes the following Site Specific Patches: SSPUX300_016 SSPUX300_050
