Symptoms:
	PHSS_21827:
	The make_recovery(1M) command fails with a fatal error
	when run on a system where the root disk filesystem is
	whole-disk, and at least one other non-core directory
	is a whole-disk filesystem mount point.  Output is like:

	make_recovery(375): Could not parse volume group name {v...
	make_recovery(214): make_recovery(1M) encountered a fatal...
	make_recovery(216): Please fix errors and re-try.

Defect Description:
	PHSS_21827:
	make_recovery was doing inappropriate operations when
	running on a whole-disk filesystem.  These operations
	should have been conditional on running on an LVM or
	VxVM system.

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHSS_21827

	5a. For a standalone system, run swinstall to install the
	    patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true \
			-s /tmp/PHSS_21827.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in
	/var/adm/sw/patch/PHSS_21827.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, you can create an empty file
	named /var/adm/sw/patch/PATCH_NOSAVE.

	WARNING: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the
	         patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.

	It is recommended that you move the PHSS_21827.text file to
	/var/adm/sw/patch for future reference.

	To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
	tape drive, use the command:

		dd if=/tmp/PHSS_21827.depot of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2k

Special Installation Instructions:
	Can only be installed on IUX A.2.4.307 release -
	checkinstall will check and EXCLUDE if necessary.

	This problem will be fixed in subsequent Ignite-UX
	releases, so this patch will not apply to future
	releases.
