	PHSS_21654:

	    Informix XPS 8.30 is now supported on HP-UX 11.00 with
	    OmniBack II 3.10.

	    There is no integration agent for Informix 7.3 on
	    AIX 4.[23].

	Resolution:
	    Required changes have been made to support Informix 7.3
	    backup on AIX 4.[23].

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHSS_21654

	5a. For a standalone system, run swinstall to install the
	    patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true \
			-s /tmp/PHSS_21654.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in
	/var/adm/sw/patch/PHSS_21654.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, you can create an empty file
	named /var/adm/sw/patch/PATCH_NOSAVE.

	WARNING: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the
	         patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.

	It is recommended that you move the PHSS_21654.text file to
	/var/adm/sw/patch for future reference.

	To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
	tape drive, use the command:

		dd if=/tmp/PHSS_21654.depot of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2k

	NOTE!
	The patch has to be installed on the Installation Server
	host.

	After the installation, the Informix packet must be
	redistributed to the Informix clients using the OB2
	GUI to get the fixes into effect.


	NOTE!
	The patch PHSS_21654/21655 introduces support for Informix
	XPS 8.3 FC2 64bit on HP-UX 11.x within the OmniBack II /
	Informix integration.


	NOTE!
	The patch PHSS_21654/21655 introduces support for Informix
	7.3 on AIX 4.[23] within the OmniBack II / Informix
	integration.


	NOTE!
	The patch PHSS_20113/20114 introduced support for Informix
	XPS 8.21 FD4 (64 bit) within the OmniBack II / Informix
	integration.

	Some onbar utilities are not supported with XPS server and
	therefore not available within OmniBack II /Informix
	integration. These are:

	   -Test backup
	   -Whole backup
	   -Whole restore
	   -Backup of current logical log

	Backup of current logical log is supported from the GUI.
	When user specifies any of these options, OmniBack II
	first switches logical logs (using command xctl onmode -l)
	and then starts backup of logical logs (onbar -l).
