	- PHSS_18705 introduces a problem with restoring the ORACLE
	  recovery database catalog.  Attempting to restore the catalog
	  with the ob2rman.exe utility fails and reports a usage error
	  for the obkrestore utility.
	- HP recommends that PHSS_18705 be removed from all systems on
	  which it has been installed.  PHSS_18705 should also be
	  removed from all software depots.

	    name="TOP_1<TOP_1_127:356290096>.dbf", parms=""
	    ORA-27007: failed to open file
	    HP-UX Error: 1245: Unknown system error

	Id = NSMex02365
	    OmniBack II ORACLE 8 recovery does not work for
	    ORACLE 8 online split mirror backup. The problem
	    can be seen if the transactions are logged into
	    database during backup.

	    OmniBack II / ORACLE 8 / EMC Integration does not work
	    correctly.

	Id = NSMex02290
	    The customer needs the catalog from an earlier
	    session. When the user starts restore session,
	    obkrestore takes first catalog object (on different
	    host) it finds, which is actualy the wrong one.

	      b670 SbtClose: The next record on the tape is not
	      marked as the end of object. Only part of the backup
	      object is restored.

	    SID that includes "_" is not handled correctly.

	Resolution:
	    Fix implemented in libob2oracle8.sl.

	    OmniBack II Oracle 8 recovery does not work for
	    Oracle 8 online split mirror backup if the transactions

	1. Back up your system before installing a patch.

	2. Login as root.

	3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.

	4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:

		cd /tmp
		sh PHSS_18705

	5a. For a standalone system, run swinstall to install the
	    patch:

		swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x match_target=true \
			-s /tmp/PHSS_18705.depot

	By default swinstall will archive the original software in
	/var/adm/sw/patch/PHSS_18705.  If you do not wish to retain a
	copy of the original software, you can create an empty file
	named /var/adm/sw/patch/PATCH_NOSAVE.

	WARNING: If this file exists when a patch is installed, the
	         patch cannot be deinstalled.  Please be careful
		 when using this feature.

	It is recommended that you move the PHSS_18705.text file to
	/var/adm/sw/patch for future reference.

	To put this patch on a magnetic tape and install from the
	tape drive, use the command:

		dd if=/tmp/PHSS_18705.depot of=/dev/rmt/0m bs=2k
